The Artic fox shrimp were devised by Ewen Robertson in 1997. The yellow one you can see under the step by step is recommended for grilse, and the blue version is a good choice for fresh run salmon and also if there are seatrout about.

The tying Pattern:
Tail: Artic fox blue, two strands of midge clear krystal.
Body: Flat silver tinsel or holographic tinsel
Rib: Silver tinsel
Underwing and wing: GP feather over natural grey squirrel and sparse artic fox blue over.
Fronthackel: Blue hen or cock feather.
