THE MICKY PROPELLERFLY WITH THE RING

With the ring in orange I had made this great fly on the Propellerfly tube, and it´s a fly that is for fishing with float/int. and sinking lines. The color combination is also so you can use it as a allround fly. It´s a fly with a lenght of 3 cm.

Had Great times by the vise

First you tying the yellow fix-tube from Propellerfly on the tybe.
Then a yellow hen feather and only 2-3 spin around the tube
Then it´s time to make a yellow dubbing ball
Now you place the two orange ring from Propellerfly, as the picture
Take a yellow hen feather there is a little bit larger than the tail, og also here only 2-3 spins around the tube.
Make a slim wing with the orange raccoon over 2 strans af midge crystal orange flash
Wing 2 is made with Yellow raccoon
The Cheeks is with yellow JC, but you can also use yellow amherst feather
Front hackle is with yellow guinea feather
The Micky is finish and ready for a salmon

The Flytying Pattern:

  • Tube: Medium outside Propellerfly tube and fix-tube in yellow.
  • Tail: Yellow hen feather
  • Body 1: A dubbing ball in yellow
  • Body 2: 2 x orange Propellerfly ring
  • Hackle: Yellow hen feather
  • Wing 1: Orange raccoon over 2 strans af midge crystal orange flash
  • Wing 2: Yellow raccoon
  • Cheeks: Yellow JC.
  • Front hackle: Yellow guinea feather
  • Head: yellow and red veevus 14/0
